This policy explains how Private Chefs Atelier handles personal information when you enquire about, plan or book a private-dining experience with us. For privacy enquiries, please contact info@privatechefsatelier.com.
What information we may collect
We collect what we need to answer your enquiry and plan your event. Depending on how you contact us, that may include:
- your name
- your telephone or WhatsApp contact, and your email address if you provide one
- the event date, location or area
- the number of adults and the number of children
- the occasion
- your service-style selection, chosen menu and dishes, and dish quantities
- children’s dining selections and enhancements
- custom requests and event notes
- allergies, intolerances and dietary information you choose to tell us
- your communications with us
- basic browser and server information generated when you visit the site
Where website analytics or advertising measurement tools are actively configured, we may also receive aggregated usage and conversion information.
How we use it
We use this information to respond to enquiries, prepare menu estimates and quotations, plan and deliver bookings, communicate with you, plan for dietary and allergy requirements, manage operational arrangements, provide customer service, keep accounting, business and legal records, maintain security, and improve the website and customer experience where appropriate.
Allergy and dietary information
Allergy, intolerance and related dietary information is used only where reasonably necessary to plan and deliver the hospitality service you have requested. Please share only the information reasonably needed for that purpose.
If you provide this information about another guest, please make sure you are authorised to do so.
When we share information
We share information only where reasonably necessary — with our Atelier team and the chefs assigned to your event, event staff, specialist suppliers required for your booking, our hosting, technology and communications providers, our professional advisers, and authorities where we are legally required to do so.
Private Chefs Atelier does not sell personal information.
Many enquiries reach us through WhatsApp. Messages you send that way are also processed by WhatsApp and Meta under their own terms and privacy practices, which may involve processing outside the United Arab Emirates. We do not control those systems. If you would prefer not to use WhatsApp, you are welcome to contact us by email or telephone instead.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses only what is necessary to make the site work and to keep it secure. Analytics and advertising measurement capability exists in the site but is only active when configured with an account identifier.
If we activate non-essential analytics or advertising technologies in future, we will provide appropriate notice and, where required, the means to give or withdraw consent.
How long we keep it
We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary — to handle your enquiry, deliver and administer your booking, keep required financial and business records, meet legal obligations, deal with any dispute, and satisfy legitimate operational requirements. When it is no longer required, information may be deleted or anonymised as appropriate.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
Your rights
You may contact us about the rights available to you under applicable law. Depending on the circumstances, these may include access to information we hold, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, objection to processing, portability, and withdrawal of consent where we rely on consent.
Please write to info@privatechefsatelier.com and we will respond as required by applicable law.
Children
This website and our enquiry process are intended for adults arranging hospitality. We do not knowingly invite children to submit personal information to us directly.
Information about children attending an event should be limited to what is reasonably required for guest numbers, menu planning, dietary and allergy planning, and delivering the service.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
